Especially, Assassin’s Creed Mirage saw the biggest increase as the number of players increased by 46% and has the second highest total number of players of all Assassin’s Creed game right now. As I mentioned in my Assassin’s Creed Mirage review – it’s much shorter and more concise than the RPG entries, which might make it easier to dive into.
While Assassin’s Creed Rogue may have seen the least growth of the games listed above, but that’s mostly due to the limits of our data sample. Our preview looks at only the top 500 games for PS5 and PS4 — AC Rogue failed to create a chart in the previous week. So we excluded it from the total percentage for accuracy. However, we ranked it higher as a secret tenth Assassin’s Creed a game that has seen an increase in the number of players because it is worth playing Redone PS4 version if you get a chance!

With a significant number of players than Rascal, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla saw a week-on-week growth of 14%. Its player count was already significant enough to land it at #51 in the top 500 games for PS5 and PS4, so this 14% increase in player count is a pretty big increase in players. In case you haven’t noticed, Assassin’s Creed the series is on sale starting May 9, 2024. However, we didn’t see a big increase in player numbers in the first week of sales, so sales alone didn’t cause a jump. In fact, we’ve seen the opposite reaction — most games he dropped active players when it went on sale. There were exceptions Assassin’s Creed II, Black flagand Exemptionwhich have all seen a small increase in players for the past two weeks in a row.

Other games in the series dropped for the week ending Sunday, May 12, 2024, and picked up significantly and unanimously for the week ending Sunday, May 19, 2024 — the week the Assassin’s Creed Shadows PS5 trailer was released. So while the sales may have helped facilitate the increase in players, it’s clear that the exposure Assassin’s Creed Shadows played the biggest role in bringing players back to the series.
