GOOGLE is finally letting Android users edit their text messages after they’ve been sent.

The new feature is part of a massive upgrade that will add a long list of benefits to your Android phone.

Google has revealed a novelty benefits in a blog post that promises they will “uplift your everyday life.”

The big news is the ability to edit texts sent via Google Messages.

You will now be able to simply tap and hold the RCS message you sent.

Google says you can “correct typos, add missing words, or clarify what you mean.”

But beware: you will only be able to make edits within the first 15 minutes after sending the message.

This feature will be familiar to iPhone owners: it was part of Apple’s iOS 16 update.

However, editing your texts is not the only update.

Google is adding Instant Hotspot, which lets you quickly connect your Android tablet or Chromebook to your phone’s hotspot with a single tap.

It means you won’t have to tap your password to connect to your own network.

Another upgrade lets you quickly switch devices during Google Meet calls.

Google explained: “You’ll be able to tap the Cast icon and seamlessly switch between connected devices to switch between your Android phone, tablet or web browser.”
