Summer is finally here, so it’s time for a fresh batch of Splatoon 3 seasonal goodies to enter the Splatlands.
The 2024 Sizzle season is upon us 1 June with new weapons, stages, gear and even a new Big Run game mode. All these new additions were shared on @SplatoonNA and @NintendoUK Twitter accounts in recent weeks and we’ve collected them for you to check out below.
So, let’s look at it what’s new in splatoon 3 sizzle season 2024.
Splatoon 3 Sizzle Season 2024 – Every New Feature
Guns
Basic weapons
- Wellstring V – New Stringer that fires five arrows in one shot, each of which can be charged to explode on hit.
- Mint Decavitator – This brand new Splatana emits ink waves when swung horizontally and a wide-angle melee attack when charged.
- Custom Wellstring V – All the same abilities as the new Wellstring V, but with Point Sensor / Wave Breaker equipment.
- Charcoal decavitator – Variant of the new Splatana with Splash Wall and Inkjet special.
- Bamboozler 14 Mk II – New look at Bamboozler 14 Mk I with Fizzy Bomb Sub and Super Chump Special.
- Recycled Brella 24 Mk II – All the same stats as Recycled Brella 24 Mk I, but now paired with Toxic Mist and Splashdown.
- Heavy Edit Splatling Nouveau – Standard Heavy Edit Splatling gets a fresh paint job and a new Splat Bomb / Crab Tank refill.
- Custom Range Blaster – Similar to the OG Range Blaster, but with a more attack-oriented Splat Bomb submarine and Kraken Royale special.
- Custom Douser Dualies FF – Basically the same as normal Douser Dualies FF, but paired with Burst Bomb Sub and Triple Inkstrike special.
- Own Hydra Splatling – Standard Hydra Splatling gets a new skin and Ink Mine / Splattercolor Screen refill.
Stages
The fight for territory
Lemuria Mushroom
A Turf War stage at the train station? What will he come up with next? This brand new map doesn’t have the greatest variety of levels, but it does have some slick moving platforms for coloring on the go.
Game mods
BIG Big run
A new take on the standard Big Run format where you’ll have to contend with a trio of deadly salmonid kings. The first innings of the BIG Big Run will be in full swing June 8.

Catalog
As usual, the new catalog brings new items, emotes and banners.
Music
It’s a new season of Splatoon, of course there’s new music. You can check out one of the new tracks, “Seasource,” below.
Tableturf Battle Cards
Those who enjoy a bit of Tableturf Battling will also receive 14 new cards in Sizzle Season 2024.
