Artificial intelligence was at the forefront of this conversation, so when the Wccftech team was invited to visit GIGABYTE’s AI exhibition, which envisioned AI with a real-time human experience, we had to say yes!

With its exhibition titled “GIGABYTE AI New Era: Humanity X Art X Technology”, the company created a pioneering center that consolidates various AI applications into one cohesive platform.

Of course, AI has several use cases, and we’re just learning what they might be, but the one leading the modern era is GenAI. GenAI, or Generative Artificial Intelligence, has changed our perception of how we use computers, and this is where the AI computing segment comes from. GIGABYTE is one of the leading computer manufacturers and also one of the pioneers of the AI PC segment. The new GIGABYTE AI PC segment has been designed to meet the creative demands of creators and professionals with several AI applications to enhance their daily work.
But even though we all see companies make big announcements about these amazing advances that AI is responsible for, it’s not always easy to imagine them in real life and in real time, outside of ubiquitous assistants, of course. With its AI exhibit, GIGABYTE aims to help everyone see not only the collaborative potential of AI-driven creative projects, but also how VR can unlock new avenues of creativity with computing power and AI capabilities, pushing boundaries and inspiring innovation in content creation and consumption.
The exhibition is a truly immersive experience, starting with artworks created using GenAI by world-renowned artists such as Escher Tsai (Taiwan) and Keith Lam (Hong Kong), Ygor Marotta of VJ Suave Studio in São Paulo, Brazil, known for projecting love. to urban corners on tricycles and emerging Taiwanese new media artist Tim Wei. You will then be taken to a room with a classic arcade fighting game machine that hosts battles using artificial intelligence tools where you can face off against the AORUS desktops.
What follows is a creative battle where you imagine a world with AI challenges while the AI itself tries to imagine something based on the challenge. Arguably the most amazing part of this exhibition was the 8K VR that will help you fly over Barcelona and Paris – an aspect of artificial intelligence that is set to revolutionize the way we create and consume content with Topaz Video AI Upscaling and real-time editing in Adobe Premier. The future of AI-driven creativity is then visualized with GIGABYTE and AORUS laptops using the latest AI technologies to capture visuals and transform them. We were a bit shocked when it took a live stream and then followed up with a challenge – which was to mix our face with Elon Musk and then turn it into an anime…whatever that came to mind!
Thanks to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 graphics processor and the use of ComfyUI, the demo laptop also helped us experience the drawing of live artificial intelligence, the generation of high-resolution images based on simple text commands, bridging the gap between imagination and visual realization (we don’t admit it, but maybe they tried to create a purple goat…).
