As regards chocolate, one of the struggles is deciding whether to reach for white chocolate or milk chocolate when the craving hits.

But Cadbury is making the choice a whole lot easier for people by relaunching the iconic 90s chocolate bar, which, like Hannah Montana, is the best of both worlds.

First launched in 1993, Cadbury Top Deck features classic milk chocolate on the bottom and a generous layer of ‘creamy’ white chocolate on top.

The bars disappeared from the shelves in the late 1990s, but have recently been available in South Africa, where they have become a fan favorite.

But in the UK, many people haven’t forgotten the sweet treat and have begged Cadbury to bring it back, more than 30 years after it was first launched.

On X (formerly Twitter), Jason Brock hailed them as the “biggest chocolate bar” he’d ever bought, while @naiadqyeen said there was “nothing” like a Top Deck bar.

Rebecca Wallis agreed, writing: ‘The best chocolate in the world is Cadbury’s Top Deck… if only it was still available in the UK.’

Everyone will probably be pleased to know that the chocolate bar will be available again in Tesco and Booker supermarkets from mid-June. A few weeks after that, in July, the bars will also be sold in many other retailers across the country.

The iconic chocolate bar is being revived as part of the brand’s ongoing 200th anniversary celebrations and will feature vintage packaging inspired by the original bar, providing a moment of nostalgia and a trip down memory lane for ’90s kids.

Cadbury Top Deck costs £1.85 for a 110g bar, but it’s worth noting that stores can set their own prices so they can vary.

Mara Popa, Brand Manager, Mondelēz International, said: “We are delighted to be responding to the demands of Cadbury fans and relaunching Cadbury Top Deck in the UK for a limited time as part of our 200 year anniversary celebrations.

“With two delicious layers of milk and creamy white chocolate, every bite of Cadbury Top Deck will reward you with pure indulgence!”

It’s not yet known how long the Top Deck bars will be available in the UK, so if you’re a fan you’ll want to secure your goods quickly.

The news comes after Cadbury launched a brand new service in selected Morrisons supermarkets offering a curated version of its popular Heroes miniatures.

The service is available in 15 Morrisons branches where customers can fill a cup with their favorite mini chocolates including Creme Egg Twisted, Wispa, Fudge, Dairy Milk Caramel, Twirl, Dinky Decker and Crunchie.

Places to find this new service include: CroydonHillsborough, Stoke On Trent and Hunslet.

A picture of one of the stands was shared on Facebook in the Food Finds UK Official group, showing a 12oz cup of chocolate costing £4.

So far, the Cadbury Heroes trial has been met with mixed reactions online, with some calling it a “brilliant” idea and planning what to put in their cup, but others not so sure.
