Tesco recalls products over E.coli – full list of 60 supermarket items affected

More products have been pulled from supermarkets across the UK this evening amid a major E.coli warning – including Tesco.

Sandwiches and wraps sold in more than half a dozen major brands across the country are being recalled following a major update published by the Food Standards Agency on Friday.

The affected products are distributed by two brands – Greencore Group and Samworth Brothers Manton Wood. The recall was a “precautionary measure” due to a possible link to E.coli. It is understood that further product recall notices from other manufacturers will be issued soon after they are reported by MEN.

• Aldi Chicken Fajita Triple Wrap with an expiry date of June 16 inclusive.

• Asda Chicken Salad (sandwich) with a best before date of June 15 inclusive.
• Asda Chicken and Bacon Club (sandwich) with an expiry date of June 15 inclusive.
• Asda Brie, Bacon and Chilli Chutney (sandwich) with an expiry date of June 15 inclusive.
• Asda BLT (Sandwich) with an expiry date of June 16 inclusive.
• Boots BBQ Chicken wrap with an expiry date of June 16 inclusive.
• BLT (Sandwich) shoes with a use-by date up to and including June 16.
