McDonald’s is launching a shakeup menu today, adding a never-before-seen summer drink based on the much-loved cookie

MCDONALD’S is launching a menu change today, adding a brand new iced drink that’s perfect for summer.

The fast giant brings an Oreo-flavored frappe that will surely become a hit among fans of the much-loved cookie.

The Sun exclusively revealed the news earlier this month and now that day has arrived.

The new regular Oreo Frappe will cost £3.09 and the larger variant will cost £3.39.

The sweet drink will feature the usual vanilla base mixed with ice and Oreo pieces.

It is then topped with more Oreo pieces and cream.

If you want to get your hands on the new drink, you’ll have to be quick because it’s only until about September 3rd.

Maccies fans have already taken to social media to share their enthusiasm for the frappe.

One said: “We’ll definitely have to give it a try.”

Another wrote: “Now I’d try this!!!”

A third commented, “I’m ready for it.”

“Looks fabulous,” wrote a fourth.

McDonald’s is adding eight new items to its menu TODAY – including a never-before-seen burger and a ‘dream’ McFlurry

While a fifth said, “Ooooooooomg.”

And while a new menu option is always welcome, it’s bad news for Biscoff Frappe lovers.

The Oreo Frappe replaced the Biscoff Frappe, which was a huge hit with fans.

The popular frappe has a vanilla-flavored base and is mixed with ice and Biscoff crumble.

It is then topped with caramel-flavored cream and sprinkles.

If you’re a fan of Biscoff, you might like to try the Caramel Frappe, which is a permanent addition to the Maccies menu.

What else is on McDonald’s summer menu?

McDonald’s presented a new summer menu on Wednesday, May 29.

The fast food giant has added eight new items to its main menu, including returning favourites.

Among the range is the brand new Hat Trick burger and the new McFlurry.

The burger features three beef patties, two slices of cheese, grilled onions, mustard and ketchup on a sesame seed glazed bun.

The Hat Trick costs £5.89 but you can upgrade to a meal with medium fries and a drink for £7.69.

Skittles McFlurry is soft milk ice cream swirled with chewy Skittles fudge pieces and sweet pearls, topped with purple Skittles flavored sauce.

For those who prefer a warm dessert, the Galaxy Chocolate and Raspberry Pie (£1.99) has also been introduced.

We sampled the entire summer menu when it first launched, so if you fancy trying some items, check out our video.

The fast food chain ditched the ‘3 for £3’ deal in its UK and Ireland stores earlier this month.

As part of the offer, Maccies fans could choose three of their favorite dishes and pay just £3 for them – meaning each item cost just £1.

We asked the fast food chain if it plans to bring back the offer in the near future.

McDonald’s regularly changes the menu to give foodies a chance to try new and returning items.

If you want to try any of these additions, don’t wait – they’ll only be available for six weeks.

Our guess is that fans can expect the next round of summer items on July 10th.

How to save money at McDonald’s

You may be charged more for a McDonald’s meal based solely on the McDonald’s restaurant you select.

Research by The Sun has found that a Big Mac meal can be up to 30p cheaper in restaurants just two miles apart.

But you can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 by filling in the feedback questionnaire found on any old McDonald’s receipt.

The receipt should include a 12-digit code that you can enter on the Food for Thought website along with your submitted survey.

You will then receive a five digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.

Make sure you check out all the different apps and platforms if you’re ordering McDonald’s to your home as well.

How do I find the nearest McDonald’s?

If you’re planning a trip to McDonald’s, you’ll want to know where your nearest location is.

The chain has a restaurant locator on its website where you can find your nearest one – and check when it’s open.

Please note that McDonald’s serves breakfast until 11:00 every day.

After that, the menu switches to the normal food menu, such as burgers, chicken nuggets, and more.
