Welcome to the Xbox Games Roundup 1-5 July! Next week’s big highlights are the release of the free game First offspring and Final Fantasy XIV Dawntrail expansion, but there’s plenty of other good stuff too!
Here’s what’s coming to Xbox next week:
New Xbox Releases (July 1-5)
- Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail (July 2): “Blue seas, clear skies and limitless possibilities await in Dawntrail, the latest expansion pack for the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy XIV Online! - First offspring (July 2): “Fight the alien Vulgus and protect the planet Albion and the continent of Ingris! The First Descendant is a free-to-play cooperative third-person action RPG with high-quality graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5. It features a wide variety of characters with unique concepts and fighting styles, massive boss battles, four player co-op, different weapons and more!”
- Parkitect: Deluxe Edition (3rd July): “Welcome to Parkitect: Deluxe Edition, a modern take on the classic park tycoons, where you build and manage the theme parks of your dreams. Build your own coasters, design a well-functioning park that fully immerses your guests in the theme, and play the entire campaign.”
- Shy Cats Hidden Orchestra (3rd July): “Shy Cats Hidden Orchestra is a hidden object game where you need to find musician kittens who are shy to play their music. When you find them, they will play you songs.”
- Agatha Christie – The ABC Murders for XSX / XSS (4th of July): “The ABC Murders is an adventure and investigation game adapted from Agatha Christie’s classic novel. The player takes on the role of the famous Hercule Poirot in a third-person adventure game filled with mysteries. The private detective once again finds himself against a mysterious adversary named ABC.”
- Epic Astro Story (4th of July): “Pioneer an untamed planet, build roads and homes for your future inhabitants. Grow your picturesque colony into a starry space citadel and attract alien tourists from all over this side of Alpha Centauri!”
- Home Run High (4th of July): “Can you lead your high school baseball team to the ultimate victory? It may be a small after school club now, but with the right training, the sky’s the limit for this team!”
- Scholar’s Mate (July 4): “Scholar’s Mate is an immersive first-person horror experience that puts you in the shoes of Judith, a young woman who wakes up in the grim facilities of a psychiatric hospital.”
- Bleak Faith: Forsaken (July 5): “Explore the last remnants of civilization in this vast, ruthless and interconnected world. Discover what remains of its history. Discover pockets of civilization in the ever-expanding Omnistructure. Get lost on a journey like no other.”
- Jumping ChiCKen (5th of July): “It’s time for some fun on the farm in a whimsical action puzzle game Jumping chicken! Tackle challenges on one screen in a top-down 3D style and aim your feathered projectile around the chicken pen to collect the ears of corn.”
- Cyber Citizen Shockman Zero (July 5): “A new mysterious enemy threatens the world once again! Only one hero can save the world… Shockman! Join the bionic heroes Raito and Azuki as they face all kinds of dangerous enemies to save humanity. Is this heroic task too much for you? Then join forces with a friend at an event in classic style!”
- Neckbreak (5th of July): “Find yourself in a futuristic city full of gangs, mafias and other shady people. Become a vigilante who works during the day and goes into a murderous frenzy at night. Jump in your car, choose a target and explore every corner of Crimson Slapy.”
- Overdrive Blaster (5th of July): “In this retro arcade game, you have to shoot monsters to get their colored balls! Get three of the same color in a row to get an upgrade; get all three colors to win.”
- Paper io 2 (July 5): “Color the map with your own color, eliminate your opponents, get the highest score and dominate the world of Paper io. Compete in a wild battle and become the champion!”
