A woman’s mid-flight meltdown, which resulted in her biting a piece of fabric from a flight attendant’s shirt, was sparked by a petty altercation in the restroom.
The woman was on United Airlines Flight 762 from Miami to Newark, but barely made it off the runway Tuesday night before she went ballistic.
It took three flight attendants and burly passengers to zip her up until the flight could be diverted to Orlando.
The staff made every effort to stop the woman’s rampage and put the “biggest bodies” on the plane next to her until the police could pull her away.
The man, who said he was also a passenger on the flight, claimed the meltdown started simply because the woman was prevented from entering the plane’s bathroom.
“She apparently verbally and then physically assaulted the family in the back of the plane after being unable to go to the toilet at one point,” he told DailyMail.com.

“The kids were screaming – although not as loud as she was… I remember acting like this when I was two or three years old when I didn’t get ice cream.”
The passenger said staff escorted her to another seat in the middle of the plane while she screamed and cursed at everyone on board.
But being separated from her family didn’t end the shameful episode as she threw punches and spat at staff and other passengers who tried to help.
“She ended up struggling with the flight attendant and started attacking him, then the white-clad usher got on her and tried to stop her,” the man said.
“After it got out of hand, the decision was made to handcuff her after she threatened the plane because all the flight attendants on board had to get involved.
“She resists handcuffs as she bites, spits and kicks this man, so others and even passengers have to step in to help.
“One passenger who stood up to help was spat in the face several times by this woman when someone threatened him.
A fellow passenger said staff found “the biggest bodies on the plane” and placed them next to the woman so she would remain trapped in a row of seats until the plane landed.
The video, filmed by another traveler, began after the crew tied zip ties around her wrists and she struggled with three of them.
She suddenly bit their shoulder, ripping off a piece of cloth and letting it float to the floor in front of the shocked passengers.
“Stop touching me…let me go, I’m a damn girl, are you trying to kill me?” she exclaimed afterwards.
The video cuts to the woman, who now has her hands zip-tied behind her back and is standing in an aisle yelling at everyone not to fly United.
“These people have an attitude problem and are not doing their job. They are handcuffing me. Why are you handcuffing me?” she shouted.
‘Why b***h? Why the hell are you handcuffing me? Why, why, why?’
The passenger told her to stop shouting and she told her: ‘Go back to Russia, old lady’, then let out a steady stream of abuse and told her: ‘I’ll kill you, you whore’.
Audio from the plane captured the woman shouting: ‘You’re a disgrace you piece of s**t, I wish I could fucking spit on you right now.’
“Don’t do it, don’t do it,” the male flight attendant warned her. “You’re insulting everyone on this plane.
Everyone applauded when she was finally kicked off the plane after the flight landed in Orlando, three and a half hours late.
Other videos from Orlando showed a woman being led away from the airport by police.
“The plane is here in Orlando and the crew will not continue. [to Newark] because of what happened between here and Miami,” the staff announced.
United said the passenger “became aggressive and disruptive,” causing a diversion to Orlando and a long delay.
“Our flight attendants worked to de-escalate the situation and protect other customers, and upon landing in Orlando, the flight was met by law enforcement and the passenger was removed,” it said.
‘We are grateful to our team for their professionalism and for ensuring the safety of our customers and their United associates.’
Orlando police said the woman was taken to the hospital for a medical evaluation and no arrests have been made.
