The lowest price ever on the Wahoo Kickr Core and why we shouldn’t buy it…
We’re on the verge of discovering the lowest prices ever on a host of Garmin smartwatches, and we’ve also spotted the Wahoo Kickr Core at its lowest price in the UK. However, this is a deal that needs a bit of explanation as it may not be all that it seems.
If you’re starting over, you need to factor in the cost of a new cartridge and a subscription to an indoor training app like Zwift. If you don’t need them then it’s a bargain, but if you need everything to get started with indoor cycling then it’s almost as cheap to buy it all direct from Wahoo and take advantage of their bundles.
Garmin Edge 1030 Plus Bundle Mega Offer!
My colleague Tom spotted a sweet discount on the large and very capable Garmin Edge 1030. It’s been replaced by several new models in recent years, but especially if you’re traveling, it’s a hugely capable bike computer, now at a whopping 40% off for our US readers.

Smart watch deals
While cyclists prefer cycling computers, there are a significant number of those who prefer smartwatches instead. These offer a number of benefits, not least of which is greater multi-sport functionality for those who run and swim, or even kayak, ski, climb and a whole range of trackable activities.
Prime Day, outside of Black Friday, is usually the best time to pick up a new smartwatch, so here are the ones we think are worth it out of the myriad options available. We’ve already seen the lowest price on the Garmin Epix 2, and while it may not be beaten, we’ll keep checking it out.
Other headphone offers
Of course, Apple isn’t the only brand in the headphone space, and I’ve recently found some decent performers from Jabra whose noise canceling and crosstalk modes work great, as well as a great performer from JLab. All the products below are tested and recommended by the Cyclingnews team and are available at a decent discount on Prime Day.

First a warning: Please do not ride your bike outside with headphones and music blaring. We’re vulnerable enough on the road that limiting (or removing) one of your senses isn’t great for keeping your sanity.
Thanks to this, headphones have a lot of uses in connection with cycling. Whether you’re quietly listening to a podcast in one ear – as I often do on quieter roads – or listening to music while turbo riding, good headphones can definitely enhance your cycling experience. .
They even say that music can help reduce perceived exertion during a hard training ride.
Some of the best deals we’ve seen so far include tech products like headphones, smartwatches, bike computers, smart trainers and bike lights. I’m going to spend some time going through the best ones we’ve found so far…
