Amazon has slashed its 32-inch budget TV to an insanely low price for Prime Day

PRIME DAY brought massive discounts on the Amazon Fire TV range, with the 32-inch Series 2 hitting its lowest price ever.

I bought the Fire TV Series when it launched for £249.99. It’s a steal today at just £139.99.

I spent nearly £250 on a 32-inch Fire TV from Amazon – now 44% off

Not only has the price of my 32-inch set dropped, but Amazon has slashed prices across its entire Fire TV lineup as its Prime Day sale begins.

Naturally, I was immediately drawn to the model I own, now available at a significant discount that I hadn’t seen when I originally purchased it.

For the next 48 hours, Prime members can get a 32-inch 2-Series Fire TV for just £139.99.

That’s its lowest price yet, even lower than what I saw during the last Amazon sale in March, when it dropped to just under £180.

You must be a Prime member or sign up for a 30-day free trial to take advantage of this offer. But with savings of £110 on this deal alone, it pays dividends.

If you are looking for a small set for bedrooms, children’s rooms or cozy spaces, I do not hesitate to recommend it.

It’s the same model I have in my bedroom and it has worked for me. I’ve been enjoying it every day since I got it (although I’m gutted that I missed out on this offer).

The 32-inch screen is much larger in smaller spaces, but it doesn’t dominate the room, and while I was drooling over 720p at the time, it would have been unnecessary on a TV this size.

But honestly, it was just as good as HD, at least to my untrained eyes.

Amazon customers are equally happy with their purchases, giving it a solid 4.4 star rating, a score I think is well-deserved.

“Can’t fault it,” said one rave reviewer. “[I] almost bought a set twice the price. Used in the bedroom, good picture and sound, really easy to set up and Alexa works great with it. 10/10 for this TV.”

Another wrote: “It’s a beautiful TV. Really easy to set up as I have other Amazon devices at home so it does most of the work itself. Good picture and works well with my soundbar.”

When it comes to soundbars, Amazon recently introduced a new Fire TV Soundbar for £100, which aims to solve a common problem among Fire TV users, myself included.

Given its budget price, there are usually some compromises when it comes to quality.

Overall, though, he seems to have overcome most of those concerns. The only downside is that it could use a little more oomph in the volume department. So I’m eyeing that soundbar for myself.

If you’re considering a Fire TV but want something bigger, I spotted an early offer on the 55-inch 4-Series model, reduced from £550 to just £330.

That’s a great deal for a TV of this size and caliber with 4K compatibility, so I’d recommend getting one before the sale ends tomorrow (Wednesday 17th July) at 11.59pm.
