JBL launches new X-Friendly AV receivers for PS5 and Xbox

We are used to different models in the brand’s AV receiver line with a similar design, and we are also used to different models in the brand’s speaker line with a similar design. But today, JBL has announced that it’s taking things to a whole new level with the simultaneous launch of new AVR and speaker ranges, both of which share the same design DNA.

As you can see in the photo below, JBL’s new AVR series and the new Stage 2 speaker series are available in matching ‘Latte’ and ‘Espresso’ colors and both enjoy a similarly sleek, contemporary design that better suits today’s modern interiors. than any mix and match AV system could be. The name MA AVR actually stands for Modern Audio.

Getting down to specifics, there are five new AVRs in the MA range, ranging in price from $399 / £499 for the entry-level MA310 to $1,599 / £1,899 for the flagship MA9100HP.

All of these models provide well-defined steps in power, connectivity and features – and all but the MA310 includes HDMI loop-throughs capable of supporting all the latest key gaming features available from premium consoles and gaming PCs. Variable refresh rates, 4K/120Hz streams, automatic low latency mode switching (ALLM), latency-reducing Quick Frame Transport (QFT) technology and high dynamic range support – including Dolby Vision – are all present and correct.

The full breakdown of the MA range (with US prices presumably excluding tax) looks like this:
