Update details
Added new playable character ‘Lidia Sobieska’
72-hour early access made available to Game Pass holders for the Year 1 Pass playable character. Passable Character Year 1 Pass is included in the following:
- TEKKEN 8 Deluxe Edition Update Pack
- TEKKEN 8 Ultimate Edition
- TEKKEN 8 Deluxe Edition
Added new battle stage ‘SEASIDE RESORT’
- A beach resort themed battle scene will be added for free.
Added new function ‘PHOTO MODE’
- New features will be added to capture battle moments more attractively, including free angle control, various functions and filters.
New items added to TEKKEN SHOP
- New Battle Pass ‘TEKKEN Fight Pass – Round 2-‘
*During the designated period, players can level up by completing daily and weekly missions in online matches, allowing them to obtain various items. A mission has been added to “WHEEL 2” to make leveling up easier.
*In “ROUND 2”, missions will be added to make it easier to level up even for players who don’t often engage in online battles.
*In “ROUND 2”, leveling up “FREE” grants “100 TEKKEN COINS”.
*By getting “PREMIUM” which allows you to get more items than “FREE” and leveling up, you can get up to “600 TEKKEN COINS” from “PREMIUM” in addition to “100 TEKKEN COINS” from “FREE”. , a total of “700 TEKKEN COINS”.
*Obtained “TEKKEN COINS” can be exchanged for various items in the “TEKKEN SHOP”.

Feature improvements and bug fixes
- Improved ‘TEKKEN BALL’ which allows you to practice TEKKEN BALL while waiting for an online match.
- Changed the ball return behavior in ‘TEKKEN BALL’ when using item techniques.
- Improved “Special Style” to perform “Special Move” and “Air Combo” from a crouched position.
- In ‘MY REPLAY & TIPS’, fixed the countdown meter to not count down when the wheel is stopped for actions like Rage Arts when the character is controllable.
- Various other improvements and bug fixes have been implemented.
Properties and/or behaviors for selected moves of selected characters have been adjusted.
Update scope
Applying update data will have the following impact on each mode and feature.
- DOWNLOADED PLAYBACKS”, “MY PLAYBACKS AND TIPS”: Play data from before the update will not be available for playback.
- ONLINE REPLAY’: Replay data before update will be deleted.
- SUPER GHOST BATTLE’, ‘GHOST MATCH’: Character behavior and movement properties will reflect the state after the update.
