Sony confirms (officially this time) Helldivers 2’s Next Premium Warbond, Freedom’s Flame

After accidentally revealing the Freedom’s Flame Premium War Bundle for Helldivers 2, Sony has now made it official along with an August 8th release date.

Freedom’s Flame is predictably themed around burn damage and survivability with new weapons, armor, emotes, capes and skins set to hit next week, according to Mitch Ayre, Junior Community Manager at developer Arrowhead Games Studios . PlayStation Blog post.

As with the previous Premium War Bonds, expect Freedom’s Flame to cost 1,000 Super Credits. While you can get super credits from the game and the warbook itself, you can also buy them with real money. 1000 Super Credits cost $9.99 through the in-game store. Premium War Bonds don’t expire, so you can work your way through them at your own pace safe in the knowledge that their items will remain available.
